We are celebrating SEVEN years in business!
In 2018, Sarah Ratley was finally ready to turn years of farm dreams into reality. Combining her love for art and animals into a profession she could be passionate about, The Painted Farmer was born.
What started as a homesteading hobby has grown into a thriving agritourism business and micro venue that has hosted hundreds of events and thousands of visitors.
The fall of 2025 will bring a much awaited addition to the farm with the opening of our new outdoor preschool program, The Well Natured Child.
We invite you to enjoy a boutique farm experience at our countryside farmette, located in Fremont, NC.
